This is great Eric!!! Just listened to the interview with Amash about the medical problems in this country. Tom and I together probably pay between 7 to 9 thousand dollars a year for medical costs even though we are on Medicare. This includes the money automatically taken out of our Social Security every month, the annual deductible amount and the medical bills remaining amount after Medicare and our secondary insurance pays. We would be overjoyed to be able to choose our own non-government insurance.
Thanks for listening Char. No news to anyone here but we have as much of a problem with our health care system now as before the ACA passed. I’d recommend tuning in hear about how best to navigate the system and find alternative solutions.
